Tempura get a taste for Prisma Park

The first office tenant to move into Prisma Park in Wade Road, Basingstoke, have converted their interest into freehold ownership.
Tempura Communications Ltd have taken advantage of an agressive pricing strategy recently adopted by the Prisma Park owners, Equity Estates. They have acquired Unit 12, comprising 202 sq m (2,177 sq ft) net internal, for the sum of £320,000 reflecting £147 per sq ft.
Tempura specializes in providing network infrastructure and telecom links for business clients, including multi-site links for VOIP, video conferencing, and CCTV networks (see www.tempurauk.net). Partnerships exist with British Telecom, easynet, NTL Telewest, Mircrosoft, Sony, Polycom and Verizon.
Matthew Light of Tempura confirmed that they saw their long term future at Prisma Park. He commented ..... "We like the development, it offers attractive and well built offices in keeping with our technology based portfolio. Market values have moved in our favour, so we took the opportunity to acquire the freehold, rather than continue to pay rent."
