9/10 Brickfield Trading Estate, Chandlers Ford

Optical Distribution Services set sights on Brickfield

Acting on behalf of their client, Paultons Properties, London Clancy have successfully negotiated the letting of Units 9/10 Brickfield Trading Estate, Chandlers Ford to Optical Distribution Services Limited on a new full repairing lease for a term of 10 years.

Letting agent, Nicola Brennan of London Clancy said “Initially Optical Distribution were looking at Unit 7 Brickfield Trading Estate, which comprises 2,200 sq ft of business space and Heads of Terms had been agreed. Once our client and I had seen sight of Optical’s accounts and their projections for the coming years, we soon realised that they would be outgrowing this space pretty rapidly. Fortunately Units 9/10, which is twice the size of Unit 7, was available and we managed to house Optical there”.

Landlord, Richard Mancey of Paultons Properties commented “Brickfield Trading Estate is a very well presented Estate within a short distance of the M3. Optical Distribution are a welcomed asset to the Estate and we look forward to building a strong relationship with them over the duration of their lease. We are very hopeful of achieving the same success on Unit 7 in the near future”.

Optical Distribution’s director, David Bartholomew said “Optical Distribution Services Ltd is delighted with it’s new home. The increase in space will enable us to service our customers in a much more efficient manner than heretofore, as well as ensuring that our stock position reflects their needs. In addition, the quality of our products and services is reflected much better by a more prestigious building.
