Case background and key issues
Weatherby Holdings owns a medium sized portfolio of commercial premises in the Basingstoke area. The properties consist of varying sizes of industrial warehouses, office units and out of town retail premises. There are over 12 properties with their portfolio. Weatherby Holdings needed a local firm to manage the properties in three main areas of expertise including management, letting and professional work.

  • The client interviewed three local firms of property consultants in order to manage the portfolio of premises, and decided upon London Clancy. The reasons for this decision were based upon their competitive fees as well as their experience of rent reviews among other areas.

The result
London Clancy continues to act for Weatherby holdings in respect of management, rent reviews, valuations and professional work as well as acquisitions, disposals and lettings. Two of the premises are currently being let and are marketing a scheme of two modern units, each of around 5,000 sq ft, which are to be built in Basingstoke.
