Jim had a broad grounding to his surveying career covering every aspect of Commercial Property within the Civil Service Property Agency. Moving to the private sector with Pearson Commercial in 1981 concluding in a management buyout in 1990 with Mark Clancy.
Jim is a regular tennis player, an active Rotarian and still has time for dog walking and family. Jim has interesting views on many issues and can always be relied on for unusual anecdotes and witty banter.
Mark started his surveying life in Wales in the Valuation Office, giving him useful insight when challenging rating assessments. He moved to Hampshire joining Pearsons Commercial in 1982. The founding partners of London Clancy all emerged from here and four still enjoy working together today.
Mark follows Southampton FC, actively keeps fit, enjoys travelling and spends a lot of time keeping his river-side garden in order. Mark can always be relied on to be the voice of reason when all around panic.

Keith’s future in property was sparked off by a careers officer when he discovered that Keith had a keen interest in property and architecture. After 5 years at Pearsons residential, with increasing involvement in commercial agency, Keith joined the commercial team in Basingstoke which subsequently became London Clancy. He has been working in the Surrey/North Hampshire region for his entire career and consequently has an in-depth knowledge of the market.
Keith’s main leisure activity is golf and he considers himself fortunate to play at Sunningdale. Other interests include photography, the arts, boating on the Thames long walks and pub lunches – appropriate when living in a converted pub near a golf.

Russell has participated in many sports and has recently taken up golf which combines his competitive nature and love of walking in a sociable environment. He recently became a father and is taking the responsibility with relish. (Not sure that golf is a great sport for a new father).
As an ex forces Grenadier Guard, Derek’s military background gives him a great advantage where attention to detail and maintaining high standards in managed properties is necessary. It is an extremely diverse role needing flexibility to turn your hand to many things and diplomacy when dealing with landlord, tenants, contractors to name but a few.
Derek’s principle hobbies are golf, fish keeping, world travel, gardening and reading. He loves organising events from golf tours to social gatherings and the phrase ‘Don’t panic Mr Mannering’ should be his catch phrase.
Thomas is the newest member of the team joining as a graduate trainee to start his RICS accredited training. One of his interests is how sustainability impacts business with particular reference to buildings.
