James has in excess of 25 years as a commercial property surveyor dealing with professional services in particular rent reviews, lease renewals, valuations and rating appeals. His last 22 years have been spent in dealing with the north Hampshire and West Surrey areas.
Over that time his work has included dealing with rent review/lease renewal work for Carlton, KFC, Helical Bar, Lloyds TSB and Arlington; rating appeals for ATS, Logica CMG, Octel and Oxfam and valuation work for many of the High Street Banks. He has acted as an Expert Witness on many occasions for rent reviews including for Boots, British Gas, ATS and Lloyds TSB and once at County Court on a lease renewal.
Property types have included offices, shops and industrials as well as "drive thru's", car showrooms, garages, doctors and vets surgeries, tyre depots, restaurants and commercial and residential development sites.
