His experience spans 25 years in commercial property agency in London and Hampshire, where he started in 1974. James has let in excess of 300,000 sq ft of industrial and warehouse premises in Southampton for clients including BAT, Slough Estates and Vesta Blades up to 2006.
James identified and acquired the BAR Honda Racing R&D facility of 45,000 sq ft in Bracknell and 7,000 sq ft for Kid Jensen Racing while at London Clancy's Camberley office, before that.
He is currently advising Paultons Properties (owners of Paultons Park) on their commercial investments at Paultons Park and Brickfield Industrial Estate at Chandlers Ford.
In September 2006, James returned to the Basingstoke office to spearhead the expansion of the agency department working alongside Keith Harpley. James also advises and lets vacant warehouses for Fox International Properties at Chalcroft Distribution Centre, West End, comprising a former 25,000 sq ft MOD depot.
